Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Solution Architect, you’ll be a pivotal team member who connects the client’s technical functional and implementation requirements with a solution design and proposal. You’ll work closely with clients and sellers to build solutions based on meeting the client’s business outcomes and known best practices for the technology and industry. In this fast-paced role, you’ll design, and construct a build work breakdown structure leading to the rough order of magnitude leading to the price and statement of work. A successful Solution Architect will demonstrate a natural bias towards self-motivation and navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions that ensure world-class delivery.

- Providing expert end-to-end technical guidance to lead discovery discussions with prospective clients, assess architecture needs for projects, and work with technical leads and sellers to create proposals.
- Leading client workshops; influencing client stakeholders at all levels to find the best architectural outcomes that align with business and technology strategies and initiatives into actionable roadmaps with clear direction on execution to ensure business value and ROI.
- Developing and contributing to the solution review boards for proposals including oversight for technology assurance, quality, and risk evaluation
- Establishing and maintaining personal relationships at all levels – from engineers to CIOs – with experience in navigating challenging debates to reach healthy resolutions.
Required Experience:
- A provable track record of documenting and sizing services-focused solutions including functional and implementation requirements that connect phases such as design, development, integration, migration, production support, and development operations.
- Skills and knowledge for building credibility and service orientation with client stakeholders aligned to Software Networks
- Extensive experience with multi-vendor networking products including switches, routers, wireless, firewall
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing 5G core networks
- Experience with Cloud computing, networking, and orchestration tools, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Knowledge of networking technologies, including NG-RAN/O-RAN
- Experience with network security solutions is a bonus
- Experience with software-defined networking technologies including Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, VMware NSX
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing paradigms and orchestration tools, e.g. IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Extensive solution design and architecture experience, including capturing requirements in a customer-facing capacity
- Prior experience designing Commercial off-the-shelf solutions to meet those requirements
- Strong network management and OSS Integration experience
- Telecom carrier or large enterprise customer experience
- Must have excellent communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills
- Skilled with Solution Architecture Methodology, Process, and Tooling
- Ability to develop technical briefs and detailed solution designs
- Ability to convey technical concepts to a diverse audience
- Technical familiarity with databases, programming, API and scripting
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with a broad spectrum of technology solutions
- Experience working in consulting of solutions including SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and/or Cloud.
